Iused BOOTP-DHCP Server downloaded from Rockwell Automation to set IP to the card. I could see the list of MAC address of the card. Then, right click to the MAC address and assigned 169.254.248.5 with subnet mask 255.255. 255.0 and gateway 0.0.0.0. Result is unable to sent IP to the card. Please kindly advice any solution.

The first thing you need to do is to check if the drivers are correctly installed for the card. Secondly, try reconfiguring the BOOTP-DHCP application. Go to Tools > Network Settings and make sure everything is configured correctly, because it's possible you've misplaced a number or something related to this process. Additionally, run the software as Administrator. Failing to do so will result in errors related to storage permissions. Even if you configure the application with the correct IPs, Windows won't save them.
